However, we could have just as easily chosen to use a .tv domain or a .org domain. Infact, there are a whole range of different domains you can use and you don't have to be based in a particular country to use them. It's entirely your choice and many countries will sell you a domain, providing you can communicate with them. For example .hk is Hong Kong, but I might not have much success purchasing .hk for my site as I don't speak Chinese!

Recently, our good friend Zyra purchased a .bz domain. Zyra Belize. Why? Well, it's quite simple, zyra is emigrating and the chosen destination is Belize. You can purchase a domain for any reason, it's upto you. If you own a Television Production company, you might opt for a .tv domain.
